About Chris
Educated and trained as a Family Counsellor, Chris has been supporting individuals, families, organizations and community for over 25 years. He has a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology and specializes in parenting, family and relationship issues. He has received training in many different interventions for families, including recognized “best practice” programs in parenting education and family therapy. Chris has also researched many aspects of best practice in community-based family interventions, and has consulted to the Ministry of Children and Family Development creating training programs for Family Support and Family Preservation. He has created training manuals for Family Preservation Programs, as well as parenting education manuals for families with children under 12 years of age, and families with teenagers. Chris is passionate about issues for families, and speaks to many community-based organizations about parenting and family development issues. He is the father of two kids who further his education and understanding every day.
